Delano Squires is a Research Fellow in Life, Religion and Family at the Heritage Foundation, and a contributor to the Blaze. I met him a couple years ago when we spoke at a conference together. He has an interesting perspective on men’s issues today. He recognizes that many of the critiques of the online men’s influencers are correct and need to be taken into account, but he also is very traditional in how he thinks men ought to live in response.
He joins me this week to talk about the sources of the problems facing men today, what he thinks about Richard Reeves’ (Of Boys and Men) solutions, why men need male role models, and more. This includes a discussion at the end about the black family, which is the topic of a forthcoming book from Squires.
