Joshua Klein, editor of Mortise and Tenon magazine, joins me this wek to talk about his love of traditional wood construction techniques, and the value of craftsmanship and manual work. In addition to the magazine, Klein is also an Associate Fellow in Mechanical Arts at Greystone Theological Institute and an elder in a Presbyterian (OPC) church.
Mortise and Tenon magazine has been around for a decade. The design is solid and the photography wonderful.
In addition to the general coolness of the magazine and this type of woodcraft, I’ve never associated Reformed theology with physical craftsmanship, so Klein is particularly interesting here. Here’s the video of our conversation.
